Primary Teeth Working Length Calculator

By Jina Jani

Enter Tactile WL and choose mode (EAL or Radiographic) and tooth/type to compute predicted WL.

How to use

Enter the measured tactile working length (WL) in millimetres. Choose the measurement mode and tooth/type, then press Calculate. The calculator returns a predicted WL using the study regression equations.

Quick examples

  • Example: Tactile WL = 15.2 mm, Mode = EAL, Tooth = L1PM → predicted WL shown.
  • Use rounding as needed; values are predictive estimates, not absolute clinical decisions.

Notes

This tool uses internal regression coefficients derived from published data. Always combine calculator output with clinical judgment and confirm with appropriate methods.
